Action Plan and Compare

Use the ranked Action Plan to decide what to fix first, then Compare audits to prove which issues were fixed, which are new and how site health moved.

The Action Plan answers "what should I fix first?" and Compare answers "did the site actually improve?". Both are Full Package features.

Action Plan

Every issue type found in the audit becomes one action, ranked by impact, effort, severity and number of affected URLs. Each action shows why it matters, how to fix it and the URLs to change. Overview shows the top five as Priority Fixes.

Export it with File > Export Action Plan CSV... to hand it to a developer or paste it into a spreadsheet or project tool. It is also included in the HTML report.

Compare

Each new audit is compared with the previous audit of the same site automatically. You can also pick any two audits from History.

Compare shows:

• New issues that were not in the earlier audit.
• Fixed issues that are gone.
• Increased and decreased issues, with the exact URLs that changed.
• Score changes for site health and every category.

File > Export Comparison CSV... exports it, including new and fixed URLs.

Before and After

Site Health > Before and After compares 20 metrics side by side for any earlier and later audit, for example before and after a site migration or redesign.

Get a fair comparison

Compare like with like. Use the same start URL and settings, and make sure neither audit hit the page limit or was rate limited. Otherwise, issues can look fixed simply because those pages were not crawled the second time. Linear only closes tickets after a complete audit for the same reason.
