Independent SiteAuditLint analysis
SiteAuditLint crawled 100 URLs on 10up.com and found no critical issues. The site is fast and clean at the server level, so the findings are about metadata: 42 pages have no meta description, 74 have no structured data, and every page links to three navigation URLs that redirect to add a trailing slash.

What stood out
Overall assessment
10up.com performs well where it is hardest to fix. Only one response took over a second, there are no 4xx or 5xx responses, no duplicate content, and the Technical, Accessibility and Security scores are 99, 100 and 100.
The gaps are in page metadata. 42 analyzed pages have no meta description, including /blog/ and older blog posts, and 74 have no structured data at all. On-Page SEO scores 86, the lowest category, with 24 titles under 30 characters, such as /blog/ at 11 characters.
One small sitewide pattern is easy to remove. Every page links to /contact, /careers and /privacy-policy without a trailing slash, and each 301 redirects to the slash version. The site also has no llms.txt file.
Audit methodology
SiteAuditLint started from the website's homepage and crawled up to 100 URLs by following discoverable internal links and the URLs listed in the XML sitemap. Results represent the URLs reached during the crawl and do not constitute a complete audit of the entire website.

Major findings
1. Missing meta descriptions
MediumFinding: 42 of 93 analyzed pages have no meta description, including /blog/ and older blog posts. Seven others are under 70 characters, such as /contact/ at 31.
Why it matters: Search engines write their own snippet when none is set, which is often less compelling. See on-page SEO checks.
| URL | Evidence |
|---|---|
https://10up.com/blog/ | No meta description |
https://10up.com/blog/2020/design-shopping-exercise/ | No meta description |
Recommended fix: Set a default description template for posts and archives, and write descriptions for /blog/ and /contact/.
2. No structured data on most pages
MediumFinding: 74 of 93 analyzed pages, including the homepage and /about/, contain no structured data.
Why it matters: Organization, Article and BreadcrumbList markup help search engines and AI answers understand who publishes the site and how pages relate.
| URL | Evidence |
|---|---|
https://10up.com/ | No structured data |
https://10up.com/about/ | No structured data |
Recommended fix: Add Organization markup sitewide, and Article and BreadcrumbList markup to post templates.
3. Navigation links that redirect to add a trailing slash
LowFinding: Every analyzed page links to /contact, /careers and /privacy-policy. Each 301 redirects to the same path with a trailing slash.
Why it matters: Small, but every redirect in shared navigation adds a hop on every click and crawl.
| URL | Result |
|---|---|
https://10up.com/contact | 301 to /contact/ |
https://10up.com/careers | 301 to /careers/ |
Recommended fix: Add trailing slashes to the links in the header and footer.
4. Short titles and multiple H1s
LowFinding: 24 titles are under 30 characters, such as /blog/ at 11 and /about/ at 15. Eight pages contain more than one H1, with 11 on /blog/.
Why it matters: Short titles miss context in search results, and one clear H1 helps crawlers identify the topic.
| URL | Evidence |
|---|---|
https://10up.com/blog/ | 11-character title, 11 H1 tags |
https://10up.com/about/ | 15-character title |
Recommended fix: Expand hub page titles and use H2 for post titles in the blog listing.
5. Thin pages and broken links on older posts
LowFinding: Five pages have under 200 words, including an author archive at 169. Fourteen pages link to external URLs that failed, mostly old WordPress community sites and an Adobe documentation page.
Why it matters: Thin pages give search engines little to rank, and dead citations weaken older posts. See the broken link checker.
| URL | Evidence |
|---|---|
https://10up.com/blog/author/sam-brodie/ | 169 words |
https://10up.com/blog/2025/preparing-for-eaa-streamline-compliance-with-pdf-accessibility-checker-by-fueled10up/ | developer.adobe.com PDF accessibility API [404] |
Recommended fix: Update or remove the failed citations, and add short bios to thin author archives.

Audit limitations
The crawl was limited to 100 URLs and started from the homepage, so only URLs discovered through internal links and the XML sitemap are represented. A 100-URL crawl does not represent the entire website. Findings reflect the site at the time of the crawl on October 23, 2026. SiteAuditLint analyzed the HTML returned by the server, so content added later by JavaScript and responses that differ for automated clients may not match what a browser shows. This audit evaluates technical observations, not overall business or search performance.
This is an independent SiteAuditLint analysis of publicly accessible pages. It was not requested or endorsed by 10up, and it does not imply that 10up uses SiteAuditLint.
