Linear tickets from audits
Connect a Linear personal API key so each audit keeps one ticket per issue type up to date, closes fixed issues and reopens ones that come back.
After each audit, SiteAud!tLint keeps one Linear ticket per issue type per site, for example [example.com] Client error (4xx): 3 URLs. Your team works from Linear, and the audit keeps the tickets honest.
Connect Linear
- In Linear, open Settings > Security & access and create a Personal API key. Copy it; it starts with
lin_api_. - In SiteAud!tLint, Settings > Connections > Linear: paste the key and click Load teams.
- Pick the team, tick Create and update Linear tickets after audits, and click Save.
The key is stored in Windows Credential Manager and acts as your Linear user, so tickets show you as the creator.
What happens to tickets

The description lists why it matters, how to fix it, and up to 200 affected URLs with evidence, newest first and marked (new).
What you can change in Linear
Priority, assignee, project, labels and status changes you make are kept. Only the title and description are rewritten on each audit, so add notes as comments.
Tickets for limits syncing to Critical, or Critical and Warning. Untick Move tickets to Done when the issue is fixed to close tickets yourself. Stopped audits never touch Linear, and if Linear fails the Slack message still goes out and says what went wrong.
