Import backlinks from Search Console, Ahrefs or Semrush
Import a backlink CSV to find broken pages that have backlinks, backlinked pages that are not indexable, and broken link building opportunities on competitor sites.
A backlink pointing to a 404 page wastes the link. Importing a backlink export shows which of your crawled pages have links pointing at them, and which of those are broken, redirected or not indexable.
Import a file
Use File > Import Backlinks CSV... or the button on Pages > Backlinks. The format is detected automatically:

Imported URLs are matched to crawled pages even when http and https, www or a trailing slash differ.
Issues it finds
- Broken page with backlinks (critical): restore the page or 301 redirect it to the closest live page.
- Backlinked page not indexable: a linked page is noindexed or canonicalised away.
- Backlinks point to a redirect: ask for the link to be updated where it matters.
Broken link building on competitors
- Crawl the competitor's site. Keep Respect robots.txt on and add a small delay.
- Import their backlink export from Ahrefs or Semrush.
- Export Reports > Broken Link Opportunities (CSV): every site linking to a dead competitor page, ready for outreach with your equivalent page.
