Independent SiteAuditLint analysis
SiteAuditLint crawled 100 URLs on agoda.com. Every one of the 99 HTML pages, including the homepage, returned no title, no H1, no meta description, no canonical and 0 words of text in the server response, which is consistent with pages built entirely in the browser.

What stood out
Overall assessment
The crawl returned a uniform result. The homepage and all 98 city pages responded with 200 in a combined 12 seconds, but the HTML contained no title, no headings, no description, no canonical, no internal links and no visible text.
That pattern is consistent with an application shell that builds the page with JavaScript, or with a lightweight response served to automated clients. Either way, crawlers that read the initial HTML see empty pages. A crawl with JavaScript rendering would show what users and rendering crawlers receive.
The priority is confirming what search engine crawlers are served. If they receive the same empty shell, serving titles, headings and text in the initial HTML would address every finding in this audit at once.
Audit methodology
SiteAuditLint started from the website's homepage and crawled up to 100 URLs by following discoverable internal links and the URLs listed in the XML sitemap. Results represent the URLs reached during the crawl and do not constitute a complete audit of the entire website.

Technical SEO scorecard
Scores are the category scores SiteAuditLint calculates as part of its Site Health Score.
| Area | Score | Key finding |
|---|---|---|
| Overall health | 85 | Good rating from SiteAuditLint |
| Technical | 96 | No canonicals on 99 pages |
| Content | 85 | All 99 pages returned 0 words |
| Performance | 100 | No slow responses, no large HTML |
| AEO | 100 | All 9 AI crawlers allowed |
Major findings
1. No title tag on any page
HighFinding: All 99 HTML pages, including https://www.agoda.com/, returned no title element.
Why it matters: The title is the main input for search result titles. Crawlers that do not render JavaScript see every page as untitled. See on-page SEO checks.
| URL | Evidence |
|---|---|
https://www.agoda.com/ | No title |
https://www.agoda.com/city/abuja-ng.html | No title |
https://www.agoda.com/city/aden-ye.html | No title |
Recommended fix: Confirm what verified search engine crawlers receive. If it matches, render titles server-side for the homepage and city templates.
2. No H1, description or body text
HighFinding: All 99 pages returned no H1, no H2, no meta description and 0 words of text.
Why it matters: City pages exist to describe destinations. With no text in the server response, crawlers that do not render cannot read any of it. See H1s.
Recommended fix: Server-render the city name, heading, summary and hotel listings on city pages.
3. Pages with no internal links
MediumFinding: 98 city pages had no internal links pointing in or out among the crawled URLs, so they were reached only through the XML sitemap.
Why it matters: Links rendered only in the browser leave the sitemap as the sole discovery route. See internal link analysis.
Recommended fix: Include navigation and related-city links as standard anchor elements in the server response.
4. No canonical, structured data or Open Graph tags
MediumFinding: All 99 pages lack a canonical tag, structured data and Open Graph title, description and image. The homepage contains one invalid JSON-LD block.
Why it matters: A canonical confirms the preferred URL, and structured data describes hotels and places to search engines.
Recommended fix: Add canonical, Open Graph and structured data to the server-rendered templates, and fix the invalid JSON-LD on the homepage.

- No mixed content, missing HSTS or missing viewport tags.

Audit limitations
The crawl was limited to 100 URLs and started from the homepage, so only URLs discovered through internal links and the XML sitemap are represented. A 100-URL crawl does not represent the entire website. Findings reflect the site at the time of the crawl on October 4, 2026. SiteAuditLint analyzed the HTML returned by the server, so content added later by JavaScript and responses that differ for automated clients may not match what a browser shows. This audit evaluates technical observations, not overall business or search performance.
SiteAuditLint analyzed the HTML returned by the server. Because every page returned an empty shell, a rendered crawl or a crawl as a verified search engine could show different results.
