20 / Automate
Connect Linear and SiteAuditLint keeps one ticket per issue type per site up to date. New issues open tickets, later audits update the URL list, and fixed issues move to Done on their own.
An audit is only useful if the fixes get done. The Linear integration turns each issue type into a ticket with a title such as [example.com] Client error (4xx): 3 URLs and keeps it in sync with the latest audit.

2. Ticket priority by severity
| Severity | Linear priority |
|---|---|
| Critical | Urgent |
| Warning | High |
| Opportunity | Medium |
Tickets get the label from Settings (default SEO audit). Tickets for can limit syncing to Critical, or Critical and Warning.
3. Ticket lifecycle
How a ticket follows the issue
Deleted tickets are recreated on the next audit. Canceled tickets are left alone.
4. What each ticket contains
- Why the issue matters and how to fix it.
- Up to 200 affected URLs with evidence, new URLs first and marked (new).
- Comments such as Audit #12: 3 new, 5 fixed. 40 affected URL(s) now.
Linear runs first after each audit, so the Slack message can link every issue line to its ticket, and the issues CSV gets a linear_ticket column.
Frequently asked questions
Will it overwrite changes I make in Linear?
Only the title and description are updated. Priority, assignee, project, labels and status changes you make are kept. Add notes as comments, because the description is rewritten on every audit.
When are tickets moved to Done?
When an issue type is gone after a complete audit that did not hit the page limit, so unchecked pages never close a ticket. You can turn this off.
How do I mark an issue as won't fix?
Cancel the ticket in Linear. Canceled tickets are left alone for good.
